TWTG’s Industrial IoT NEON Valve Sensors provide this insight. This solution is tailor-made for quarter- and multi-turn valves of nearly every kind. All in the reliable NEON form factor that comes as a battery powered, IECEx Class 1 / ATEX Zone 1 certified I-IoT device, communicating wirelessly via LoRaWAN.

Manually operated valves require to be regularly checked and controlled, which can be facilitated by digitisation. Monitoring these assets will avoid spillage and / or contaminations.

Designed for industry from the very beginning, TWTG’s NEON product line is built to not only operate in industrial sites where explosive gasses are being handled but also all other elements that a sensor may be exposed to in the course of its 10 year lifetime. It has been tested and certified to work in conditions from -40° to 80° Celsius without hindering performance. The devices are designed and engineered in such a way that they can be safely and securely deployed in a wireless network and are fully remotely configurable, ensuring not only longevity but also reliability within an operation. The devices have also received FM approval and are fully certified for use in the United States and Canada.

Additionally, TWTG delivers spare parts and product lifecycle support. Hence, even at the end of the battery lifetime, the sensor can continue to be used with the correct refurbishment kit. This way, periodical maintenance can be kept at a minimum.

NEON Valve Sensor works via retrofitting. The devices are installed on top of existing valves with a bracket, extending its longevity for the digital age.
